Description
This collection of 2100 Hindu names has been compiled in Roman script and in order of English alphabets. Each name has been given in both Hindi and Roman script with meanings or reference of the word in English, which will make it useful for even non-Hindi speaking world.
This book is a presentation to suggest popular and meaningful names on the auspicious birth of a child in any Hindu family. This collection will suggest meaningful, simple and impressive names for both genders. Many of the names are equally suitable for both boys and girls, just by making certain variation like adding or deleting 'a' at the e3nd of the word. Most of the names in this book are based on our religious and mythological characters, which may or may not have any dictionary meanings.
Some of the names in this can be written or read in more than one way, e.g. 'Alkaa' or 'Chaaru' can be written as 'Alka' or Charu' more correctly. This has been done only to emphasize the right pronunciation.
