Here are 31 prayers based on selected mantras from the Vedas, one for each day of the month. The selection is of course a matter of personal choice. Each of these mantras is like a lustrous gem which radiates rays of purity, piety and peace of mind and leads towards spirituality, serenity, serenity and strength.

These Vedic prayers are very simple and brief. The poetic rendering of the mantras in Hindi lends them a special charm for which I am indebted to my friend, the renowned Vedic scholar, Sri Viraj, whose poetry has a natural flair and spontaneity.
