The book is divided in two parts. A Study of Hindu Science of Architecture and its practice with special reference to Rajava Jabia is an attempt to share with non Sanskrit knowing readers the contents of the text.

As a practicing Civil Engineer for more than forty years, I have designed, constructed and repaired many residential, commercial and industrial buildings, using reinforced concrete and modern building technology. In repairing many old buildings, 1 came across 'Madras Terrace' roofing wherein the wooden rafters and wooden beams were used. Wooden Pillars were also used for supporting the beams.
