Description
Somnath a bright student gets an ordinary pass in his B.A. examination due to the callousness of an examiner. Failing to get a job, frustrated Somnath runs across Bishu da who suggests him to try hands at business. Somnath is introduced to Mr. Adak, an accountant with whose help he gets his first commission.
In the hope of supplying a brand of optical whitener, Somnath meets Goenka, the purchasing officer who refuses to place the order with Somnath until he is properly entertained and that off course in the form of a woman in his bed.
On the appointed day after a few unsuccessful attempts to get a call girl, Somnath approaches a commercial school in an Anglo-Indian quarter. Somnath happens to come across Juthika who is actually Karuna, his friend’s sister. Karuna refuses to be recognized and takes the bold step to go to Goenka’s hotel as Juthika. Somnath had no other choice.
