Khalistan movement in Punjab is a tragic chapter in the history of Punjab. Punjab soil suffered for ten years the horrified killings of mankind. Sikhs were killing the Sikhs. Indian politicians were watching the butchering of mankind sitting on safe chairs. None understood the feelings of Sikhs. They crushed the movement of Khalistan with might.
The writers, intellectuals and journalists have not shown justice towards this movement. The Heroes of this movement have been shown as robbers, extremists, rapists and Government agents. They created great hatered in the minds of Punjabi people.
No movement can be successful without the co-operation of the masses. That is the reason the Khalistan movement touching the summit, fell to the ground with in no time.
