Description

The voices in Sankha Ghosh's poems are various and splendidly modulated. Many are reflective, several corrosive with irony, and some ache with music and in sensuality. The finest of Sankha Ghosh's poems move in a dazzle of clarity, a plainness beyond gaudy colors, within what Rilke, in a letter about Cézanne, called 'the diamond zones.'
