Description
Medince and meditation come from the same root. Medicine means that which heals the physical, and meditation means that which heals the spirtual. Both have healing power.
In ancient times, it was possible to tell people to sit quietly and meditate. They could do it. Their life style allowed that. But in modern times, with the pace of life so fast, people are unable to do so.
So, for the modern man, Osho created a new format of what he called 'active meditations'. The meditation were able to dislodge the negative, suppressed trauma within the person first. After dealing with the suppressed negative memories and feelings, the person is then capable of meditating with a calmer mind and is able to concentrate. Osho has designed different kinds of meditation for different times of the day. Most of the active meditations are created by Osho himself.
