ABOUT THE TRANSLATOR:
Tejwant Singh Gill (1938) is a Scholar, writer and translator of repute. He has taught English Literature for several decades and is the author of more than 20 books in English and Punjabi. The range of his writings both in English and Punjabi extends from culture, language, literature in its Myriad formsto film and painting. He has translated Garcia Marquez’s one Hundred Years of Solitude into Punjabi. He has also edited and translated for the Sahitya Akademi Sant Singh Sekhon: Selected Writings besides writing a monograph on him.
