Description

Mukul the six-year-old son of Shudhir Dhar shows signs of having memories of previous birth.

Parapsychologist Dr. Hazra examines him and concludes that the place may be some where in Western Rajasthan and offers to take him to search for the golden fortress.

The journalists in the mean time turn it into a hidden treasure story which attracts two crooks Burman and Bose who disposes Dr. Hazra and wins Mukul‘s trust for the rest of the journey .

Meanwhile Shudhir appoints private detective felu (Prodosh) Mitter and his cousin tapesh, suspecting his son to be in danger and they leave for Jodhpur a day after. They all stay in the circuit house and Bose assumes the role of a globetrotter and Burman stays in the disguise of Dr. Hazra. Burman hypnotizes Mukul who names Jaisalmer as the place of his former birth .They trick felu and sets for jaisalmer with Mukul.

Felu, through a series of incidents and the mysterious appearance of the real Dr Hazra gradually finds out the trick and ends in exposing the crooks and solving the mystery. The climax comes in the golden fortress where felu is able to free Mukul from danger, as well as from his obsession.
