Description
As movie making enters India in the early decades of the twentieth century it comes up against a traditional, and deeply suspicious, society. No woman, not even one who makes her living on Aatvi Galli, will be seen dead in a film. Undeterred, Kapilraj gets Ganpat to play the film's heroine.
