Description

Prof. V V John recalls a humorous anecdote. A professor was cracking a joke. An irreverent student interrupted him to remind that he had told them the same joke a month or so earlier. The professor however continued nonchalantly but added. If that is so, those who laughed last time need not laugh now.

The compiler of this booklet makes the same request. His only aim is to bring a bit of laughter to your life. His apology is in the form of an anonymous prayer of a clown:

As I stumble through this life, help me to create more laughter than tears. Never let me become so indifferent that I will fail to see the wonder in the eye of a child. Never let me forget that my total effort is to cheer people, make them forget, at least momentarily, the unpleasantness in their lives. And in my final moment, may I hear you whisper: When you made my people smile, you made me smile.

This small book contains a selection of healthy humour from the lives of the great to make you Laugh a While and think a Bit.
