Description
This volume is a collection of fifteen remarkable Bangla stories in English translation.
The project to translate these stories was undertaken by the Department of Comparative Literature, Jadavpur University. Its primary objective was to add to the burgeoning archive of Indian bhasha literature available in English translation.
This volume will further bolster the case for the study of Indian literature in our universities and will also help make some remarkable writers of Bangla short fiction available to those who have no access to the original.
