Description

This book attempts to convey the essence of the Qur'an by presenting the contents of each of its seraphs in condensed form. The focus throughout the book is on the spirit of the Qur'an, on its message and its teachings and on the lessons that should be derived from it for our daily life.

The Qur'an, which comprises 114 chapters, began to be revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Jibrill in AD 610 while the Prophet was sitting in seclusion in the cave of Hira, near Makkah. The entire revelation was completed over a period of 23 years, and the last passage of the Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet while was addressing a gather at Mount Arafat after performing his last Hajj in AD 632.

Being the true word of Allah in human language, the Qur'an is the eternal book of instruction for the whole of mankind. It provides correct and understandable answers to all the questions which arise in an inquisitive mind, such as why Allah has placed humanity on earth? What is his scheme of things in creating such a vast universe? How should we lead our lives? What will happen to us after death?

It presents the key to successful human existence, both in this life and in the life to come.

Although the book is primarily intended for the general reader who is interested in studying the Qur'an, it will also be found a useful tool for da'wah.
