Description
Moor’s Hindu Pantheon is one of the earliest and probably most respected works in Hindu Mythology. The original 1861 Edition, though masterpiece of scholarly writing on this difficult subject, was burdened by its enormous size. Now it is presented in an edition edited and annotated by W.O. Simson.
This soft cover edition has been composed and set against the original, if at all available, is to be found in a state of dilapidation. The original wood-cut drawings have been worked upon by expert artists. The style, however, adopted in the Original work by moor has not been interfered with.
The publishers hope that the new edition of this great work gives as much reading pleasure as it invoked when the book first made its appearance in 1861 under the Title-Sri Sarva Deva Sabha: The court of all Holy Gods.
