Tutun Mukherjee, the translator, is Associate Professor of English in Osmania University, Hyderabad. An MA from Patna University, she received her Ph.D degree from Osmania University. Besides several papers and two books on the subject of her specialization, her work in translation studies include stories of the Partition and an anthology of critical essays titled' Translation: From Periphery to Center stage'.
