The life story of Hanuman is but the life story of Sri Rama himself, as, wherever there is Sri Rama there is his devotee Hanuman. Needless to mention, where there is Hanuman, Sri Rama is bound to be with him. It is only in the physical level that they seemed to have two different bodies. Their minds and souls are forever united. It might be mentioned here that, once Sri Rama had questioned Hanuman: ‘Kastvam’, which means: ‘who are you?’ Immediately Hanuman replied.

Let the character of Anjaneya be your ideal. He lived his life entirely for the sake of Sri Ramachandra. He even leapt over the sea for Him. He did not care about life or death. He was a master of his senses. He was extraordinarily intelligent and stands as a glowing example of dedicated service to one’s master. Through such virtues, one can become successful in the course of time.

This book adequately covers the well known qualities of Hanuman, namely His exploits, service to Sri Rama and continuous chanting of Rama nama. A special feature of this book is the extensive coverage of Sundarakandam, an important portion of Ramayana. It is our earnest wish that the kids who have read this book graduate themselves into reading more religious and spiritual books.

Hanuman is a popular God worshipped throughout the country. This book covers the well known qualities of Hanuman, namely His velour and humility, strength and knowledge, his service and devotion to Sri Rama and continuous chanting of Rama nama. A special feature of this book is the extensive coverage of Sundarakandam, an important portion of Ramayana which is reverentially read by devotees.
Especially meant for the children and younger readers, the book is graphically illustrated with many pictures and drawings on Hanuman.

You have now to make the character of Mahavira your ideal. See how at the command of Ramachandra he crossed the ocean. He had no care for life or death! He was a perfect master of his senses and wonderfully sagacious. You have now to build your life on this great ideal of personal service. Through that, all other ideals will gradually manifest in life. Obedience to the Guru without questioning, and strict observance of Brahmacharya—this is the secret of success. As on the one hand Hanuman represent the ideal of service, so on the other hand he represents leonine courage, striking the whole world with awe. He has not the least hesitation in sacrificing his life for the good of Rama. A supreme indifference to everything except the service of Rama, event to the attainment of the status of Brahma and Shiva, the great World – gods! Only the carrying out of Shri Rama’s best is the one vow of this life! Such whole – hearted devotion is wanted.
