About The Editor
Makarand Paranjape is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at-the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He studied at, and received his master and Doctorate degrees from, the University of Illinois, USA.

A poet, novelist, critic and columnist, he is the author of The Serene Flame and Playing the Dark God (poetry); This Time I Promise It’ll Be Different: Short Stories and The Narrator: A Novel (fiction); Mysticism in Indian English Poetry and Decolonization and Development: Hind Swaraj Revisioned (criticism). He has also edited six books, published several academic papers, and is a well-known literary journalist. He travels extensively, participating in both academic and non-academic gatherings, engaging in issues of culture, criticism, spirituality and society.
