Description
This is the story of Prem (Salman Khan) & Nisha (Madhuri Dixit). Prem is learning the ropes of business under his elder brother Rajesh (Mohnish Behl) and uncle Kailashnath (Aloknath), both successful businessmen. In another town, Nisha is the darling of her elder sister Pooja (Renuka Shahane) and parents Prof. Choudhary (Anupam Kher) and Kamladevi (Reema Lagoo). Fate brings the two families together culminating in the marriage of Rajesh & Pooja. This is also when Prem meets Nisha, and falls in love with this carefree girl. In soft whispers, Prem & Nisha commit their love for each other, but fate strikes a cruel blow with the sudden demise of Pooja.
The future of his newborn child worries Rajesh and the entire family. Prof. Choudhary suggests that Nisha should marry Rajesh, and become the mother of Pooja's child. Love is put to the test. The lovers - Nisha & Prem, decide to sacrifice their love for the sake of their family. Will Rajesh go through with the wedding once he finds out about Nisha and Prem's love story? Won't Nisha be able to love the newborn child as much as a mother by her Aunt?
