Description
BASED ON WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’S COMEDY OF ERRORS…
Sandeep, a young timber merchant, lives with his mother and his servant Sevak who has grown up with him.
Sandeep & Sevak go to Shikarpur for business. This is their first visit to the small town and so, they are naturally astounded when they find that people of the place already know them well and greet them by their names.
The mystery deepens a little and then is cleared when it is revealed that there lives in the same town another Sandeep and his servant Sevak (Obviously the twins lost in their childhood when traveling on a steamer in the stormy weather) with their respective wives, Suman and Pyari. Suman has a younger sister Anjoo, also living with her.
Interestingly, however, our Sandeep and Sevak are aware of the presence of another pair of twins in the same town and so is the Shikarpur pair and for that matter, the people of the town oblivious of the new pair of visitors. What follows, therefore, is a series of misunderstandings and grotesque situations, confusion mounting on confusion, replete with hilarity and matters taking a very complicated turn until, at the end, the truth is revealed to the erring parties and the whole family is re-united.
