Description

Sahmat’s earlier publications dealing with the communalization of education under the BJP dominated NDA dispensation, had focused attention on the blatant communal bias and on the glaring factual errors in NCERT’s new text books.

However, Sangh ideologues and apologists who have authored NCERT’s subsequent text-books, have obviously neither benefited from nor been shamed by the widespread criticism of their earlier texts by scholars, school teaches and media persons.

As the present compilation clearly shows, the earlier flaws abound, but attempts to include some sections that are uptodate and approach history scientifically, have resulted in extensive plagiarization from the text of an American author.
